Doggy Daycare
Overview
Each and every day, rain, or shine or snow we start every day off with a field pack walk , then the following play groups etc
Daycare is offered 5 days a week!!! Monday-Friday drop off between 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM. Pick up between 4:00 - 6:30 PM. There is no daycare on weekends at this time. DAYCARE MONDAY - FRIDAY IS BY RESERVATION ONLY!
Although some dogs may have forgotten from their earlier years, socializing with other dogs is an amazing experience for them that takes them back to their youth with their siblings. Playing, running, and having fun.
In a supervised environment dogs play in one of two large indoor rooms. These rooms have been set up to accommodate various levels of energy and activity needs.
Each dog plays in a room that is most appropriate to those needs.
Outside they have access to a very large yard for playing, lounging, relaxing in the sun, and getting fresh air.
Just outside of the fenced yard, we have a large open field that is also completely fenced in and secure. Out in the field they enjoy long walks, lots of space to run free with their friends and just be dogs! The field even has a maintained pond for all those that love to swim!
*Please Note: All dogs must be spayed/ neutered and be up-to-date with their vaccines. (Rabies, Distemper & Bordetella)
Daycare Requirements
Our doggy daycare program requires the dogs to come on a committed set schedule. This means the same days each week.
All of our dogs come on a set schedule as it gives us the opportunity to offer them a more comfortable and predictable pack dynamic. We have come to realize this makes for a more safe and enjoyable day for the dogs.
Once you have a set schedule we do try to be accommodating when wanting to add extra days with more than 24hr notice. There are certain times around the holidays where we are full and at capacity and unfortunately cannot be as flexible.

* Please Note: Under direction of a financial advisor and to continue to provide quality service, we will be increasing our service rates beginning December 1st 2022. Those new prices are reflected in the above table.
*An additional $5 +tax per meal will be added for daycare dogs - older than 6 months, that want to have owner provided meals served during their play day.
*Full day daycare package can not be applied to half day daycare. Daycare 4 hours + will be considered full day daycare and will be billed as such. Reservations are required.
A Typical Day at Pets Get Physical
7 AM - 7:30 AM: Boarding dogs at Pets Get Physical are let out for a morning pee break and leg stretch then brought back in for breakfast time!
8:00 AM - 11 AM: Pack leader walks daycare dogs. As more dogs come they are integrated with the main pack. This is where the magic happens, there is something incredibly balancing for dogs to migrate and walk with a pack. While lots of them do run around playing and chasing we promote a calm state to help them all get along.
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: When required a second pack leader walks our lightweights in our second field. (these are our goofy puppies, seniors and small dogs)
11:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Clean up time!!! This is the time the main pack stops walking in the field. Depending on weather conditions the group comes into the concrete yard or inside where they are rinsed and dried. Please keep this in mind when deciding what time to drop off your dog, the more of the pack walk they can get the more moneys worth you are getting!!
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Dogs are separated into groups according to energy level, social behaviour and social level. (feel free to ask Keri Lynn where your dog fits in). Boarding dogs are put into their personal cubbies to rest before dinner.
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Dinner and rest time for boarding dogs and daycare dogs that bring their dinner.
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: The dogs are let back out into the concrete yard to do their business and socialize in small groups.
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Daycare dogs are in small play or rest groups and boarding dogs rest in their cubbies
8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Boarding dogs are let out for the final time to do their business and stretch their legs.
